About Me

Hey, I'm Adir Ben David, also known as Adirbd.

I'm a DevOps engineer focused on building reliable, practical technology infrastructure across both on-prem and cloud environments.

Beyond my day-to-day work, I'm deeply interested in transportation, urban systems, and large-scale planning. I care about rail, aviation, metro, light rail, BRT, and urban streets—and about how these systems perform in the real world over time.

In infrastructure discussions, efficiency and measurable public return matter to me. I prefer decisions that balance engineering feasibility, economic value, and long-term public impact.

I believe public money should be managed with the same discipline as a high-performing private organization: clear goals, accountability, measurable outcomes, and long-term value.

Outside of work, I enjoy coffee for its craft and experimentation, trying different beers out of curiosity, and resetting through movement—sometimes snowboarding, sometimes just stepping out of routine.

Professional Experience

I currently work as a DevOps Engineer at Check Point, with a background spanning QA engineering, team leadership, and work in a telecommunications environment. What I bring is a systems view: connecting architecture, operations, and real user behavior to deliver infrastructure that is practical, resilient, and sustainable over time.
